SAN JOSE, Calif.—LELO has announced the global release of Hula Beads, the first remote-controlled pleasure beads that combine powerful vibrations and rotations within.
LELO has reported a surge in holiday demand since it opened pre-orders on Hula Beads three weeks ago, with shipments to more than 5,000 stores worldwide starting today.
Designed to take the traditional pleasure beads concept to a new level, Hula Beads are the first product of their kind to combine a top rotating bead and bottom vibrating bead, with eight varied stimulation modes controlled via wireless remote.
The company claims the secret to Hula Beads’ long-term success will come from their versatility, with LELO providing two ways to use the product. One use is to have users insert the top bead only, which allows for stimulation of the labia, while the bottom bead vibrates against the clitoris. The other use is to use the beads similar to an egg massager while controlling stimulation patterns via the wireless remote. In this method, the beads help to stimulate the G-spot.
The remote control for the Hula Beads has a range of up to 122 feet.
Global industry figures show the demand for pleasure beads has soared since last year’s Fifty Shades of Grey best-selling trilogy.
“Pleasure beads or Ben Wa balls have been around in one form or another for thousands of year, but with the launch of Hula Beads, LELO takes this product into a whole new territory,” said Donna Faro, LELO’s USA director of sales and marketing. “The pleasures on offer are something customers are going to find very hard to resist.”
