Girlfriends Streets B. Skow's Most Shocking Film ‘Daddy’s Girls’

VALENCIA, Calif.Daddy’s Girls, possibly the most controversial and polarizing adult film of the year, is now available on DVD through Girlfriends Films. A cauldron of smoldering taboos, pitch-black humor and depraved sex, the B. Skow feature has inspired heated debate on Internet news sites and chat boards, asking if the award-winning director “has gone too far.”

“The controversy surrounding Daddy’s Girls is understandable,” B. Skow says. “We’ve created a unique story, which is complicated, dark, and bold in its exploration of themes such as incest, rape, and suicide. Our characters are emotionally fragile—physically challenged in the case of Samantha, our blind protagonist—and often morally bankrupt. But it’s the emotional weight they carry enhancing the film’s sex scenes. These are flawed people engaging in dysfunctional relationships... it’s a hot and vigorous mind-fuck.”

Designated by B. Skow as the best film of his career, Daddy’s Girls is toplined by Maddy O’Reilly and Riley Reid. O’Reilly plays Samantha, a blind 18-year-old girl on suicide watch after she’s dumped by Dale, her father’s best friend and the man who forcibly took her virginity. Reid plays Dale’s daughter, Quincy, a sex-cam performer infatuated with her dad and determined to steal him away from her mother.

“This is the kind of gut-wrenching despair machine that would have audiences clapping their asses off at Sundance, but we’re fortunate enough that it’s also hardcore pornography and therefore available to those who don’t frequent film festivals,” said Fleshbot’s Ottimo Massimo. “Nothing compares to the seven-layer dip of drama and depravity that’s been assembled for Daddy’s Girls.

“[Daddy’s Girls] proves what porn’s potential can be,” stated Captain Jack, film reviewer for adult consumer site AdutDVDTalk.com. “The story touches on suicide, cancer and incest—subjects that can make many people uncomfortable, but Skow weaves [it] in such a way that you’re captivated from beginning to end. The storyline drives the sex scenes and the sex is hotter because of the story.”

Daddy’s Girls was written by David Stanley and co-stars Alec Knight as Quincy’s father, Dale, and Evan Stone as Samantha’s cancer-stricken dad, Bob. Darla Crane, Odile, and Capri Cavanni round out the cast.

“Daddy’s Girls is B. Skow’s most powerful work to date, and we are extremely proud and excited to have it street today,” said Girlfriends Films Vice President Moose. “It has become one of the year’s most eagerly anticipated releases, with consumer awareness at an all-time high. People have seen the trailer; they’ve discussed it online. Now, they’re just dying to see how far it all goes.”

Daddy’s Girls is the newest release under the distribution deal between B. Skow and Girlfriends Films, which includes the first boy/girl sex movies ever distributed by the famed lesbian studio.  Previous titles under the deal are Paint, Voila, Homecoming, Truth Be Told, and What Do You Want Me to Say?

Adult entertainment news producer X3Sixty Network recently released a behind-the-scenes documentary on Daddy’s Girls titled “Nothing Is Taboo: The Making of Daddy’s Girls.” To view the documentary, click here.
