AMSTERDAM—Dutch porn star Bobbi Eden has signed a contract with leading Holland-based publisher Nijgh & Van Ditmar to pen her autobiography.
The book, being touted as "a no holds barred inside look into a billion dollar industry," is expected to release in Spring 2014.
"Nobody is put into this world as a performer in the porn industry. It takes more than a good body and a clear mind to last more than a few months in adult," Eden said. "It’s a ‘dog eat dog’ business, where you can only survive with a clear head, great intuition and a savvy business mind. I can't wait to put pen to paper and I am thrilled to be able to lay it all out there … the good and the bad."
Eden has seen a number of career boosts recently. In September she premiered a reality television show, Bobbi in the USA, on Dutch cable network Meiden Van Holland. The month before that, she signed a contract with Dutch webcam giant IsLive.com. Also in 2012, she became the first Dutch star to be molded for her own Fleshlight. Eden currently writes for weekly Dutch magazine Panorama and does weekly spots on Dutch radio station BNN Today for Radio 1. In 2010, Eden made international headlines with "#Teambj" on Twitter—promising oral sex to her followers if Holland won the World Cup. She also just launched a men's underwear line called "Cock & Balls," and even has a sandwich named in her honor in Holland.
Eden is part of the VNA Girls Network (http://www.vnagirls.com), which includes other high profile stars such as Vicky Vette, Julia Ann and Francesca Lé, as well as Penthouse Pet Nikki Benz and Swedish star Puma Swede. Eden's site was nominated for Best Solo Website at the 2013 AVN Awards.
