Remember the Rigases, that Pennsylvania family that owned Adelphia Communications, once the country's fifth largest cable TV provider, which served some parts of L.A., and who were the darlings of the Religious Right for a while when they promised not to allow any adult programming on their cable system?

Well, guess what? John Rigas and son Tim will be reporting to prison on Aug. 13 after their convictions in 2005 for conspiracy, securities fraud and bank fraud, and they'll be serving sentences of, respectively, 15 and 20 years.

For some reason, that news never got reported in the RR "news"letters ...
