In case you were wondering why the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division wasn't much concerned with civil rights

— Deputy Assistant Attorney General Bradley Schlozman to Special Litigation Section Chief Shanetta Cutlar after she wondered why all the "qualified" applicants for positions in her department "typically reflected membership in conservative organizations," and  that the applicants "generally lacked relevant [civil rights litigation] experience."

(P.S.: The Justice Department has decided not to arrest and try Schlozman for lying under oath to the Senate Judiciary Committee .)
