'Law and Order' cop accused of child porn possession

Dan Goodin reports in The Register that Albert Insinna, who played a child-porn-busting cop on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, was found by a computer repair person at a Best Buy in northern New Jersey (near where he lived) to have 180 images of alleged child porn on his computer.

"It's a situation where he's in possession of a computer that had a hard drive that's a few years old," said Insinna's lawyer, Joseph Portelli. "Various people have had access to it, at home and at work. They're not his."

We'll see how the "everybody uses my computer" defense flies.
