The Price of Pleasure — Tracked Down!

The Price of Pleasure — Tracked Down!

It took some major sleuthing, but Gram Ponante finally got the goods for us.

When last we left The Price of Pleasure (TPoP), it was scheduled to be shown today (10/30) at USC — but no time or exact location was ever provided. Apparently, that showing never happened — but take heart: This "documentary" about the perils of porn and the porn industry WILL take place, at least according to one of its creators, Saturday evening, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m. at the Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, and it should be open to the public!

Quoth Ernest Greene, the adult industry producer who's garnered the most "minutes of fame" in the movie, "I know Nina [Hartley] and I will be there, along with as many of the other TPoP targets as we can muster. [You can see a list here .]  If they don't let us in or won't call on us during the Q&A, it will still be a good story, proving once again that bullies are also cowards."

Green advises getting there early, say about 6:30, since we have no idea how much parking is available, nor how many people will be trying to get into the screening.

Enjoy!

I feel hornswaggled to have participated in this hatchet job. Even more disturbing is the filmmaker's use of footage from Baker's Dozen. I hold the copyright to that work and did not agree to its use in this work. Fair use? Hardly....
