HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Hot on the heels of their success with Not the Bradys XXX, X-Play producers Jeff Mullen and Scott David plan to shoot a pornographic spoof of the 1970s TV series 'The Partridge Family' for Hustler Video.
"An advance teaser for the movie will be displayed on the big screen at the Hustler booth at AEE," Mullen told AVN. "We're expecting it to have the same impact that our Not the Bradys XXX trailer had at last year's expo."
Tentatively slated for fall 2008 release, the not-Partridge porn flick operates on a premise similar to the X-Play/Hustler hit Britney Rears 4, which used aphrodisiacal lollipops as a gimmick to set up raunchy sex scenes.
AVN obtained the top-secret synopsis for the upcoming movie, which reads as follows:
"When Danny purchases a secret love potion off the internet that makes girls desire sex with him, older brother Keith reacts with desperate measures in an attempt to keep his waning sex appeal. Sexy sister Laurie and MILF-like Mom Shirley accidentally use the potion as perfume and find themselves constantly getting laid. With an upcoming television appearance on the US Music Awards, manager Reuben is at wit's end trying to get the family to rehearse instead of having wild sex."
The movie will include music sequences, five hardcore scenes and "some dialogue," said Mullen, who will direct the movie under his Will Ryder pseudonym.
Mullen confirmed that X-Play and Hustler will release a sequel to Not the Bradys XXX this coming year.
"With the incredible success of Not the Bradys XXX, we needed to get busy with a sequel," he said. "However, we’re not in a rush to get it to market because the first one is still selling at an unbelievably high rate. We’re in the pre-production stages right now on Bradys 2 and the Partridge movie."
Hustler Video's creative director Drew Rosenfeld delivered the requisite Partridge pun: "‘Come on, get happy’ is definitely a motto that we all agree with,” he said, “and we are looking forward to sharing the love with all the fans in 2008 with Not the Partridge Family XXX.”
