Wicked Pictures contract performer/director Devinn Lane will appear on local radio station KROQ FM (106.7) tomorrow to promote her new reality series, Road Trixxx. One listener and a friend will win the opportunity to be on the set of the set of the video with Lane between 8 and 9a.m tomorrow morning.
Road Trixxx is Lane’s newest series that promises to take viewers on a cross-country road trip, taking place at various locations in each volume.
“This is a project I have been pushing Wicked to do for six or seven months now,” Lane told AVN.com of the series. “It fits me perfectly and with me so attached to reality television [via her Playboy TV show, 7 Lives Exposed], it makes sense for me to do something that is reality-based….Most people that know me and read my AVNInsider column know that I love to take road trips and it hit me like a ton of bricks that this was the right thing for me to be doing.”
“It’s a great opportunity to anyone who wants to see what goes on behind the scenes and it’s going to be a pretty amazing trip,” Lane said.
Lane, who has previously directed the AVN Award nominated series, The Devinn Lane Show, said that one of her first locations for this new series came as a response to her AVNInsider column. In her January column, Lane wrote about her negative experiences attempting to visit brothels in Nevada.
“There is a fan of mine who is the husband of the general manager of Sheri’s Ranch Resort [a brothel/resort in Nevada} and he read my column and he said ‘It sucks that you had such a bad experience. I know the right lady that you need to talk to.’ So I met up with Lorraine Harper, the general manager of Sheri’s Ranch and she wanted to try to change the negative experience that I had had,” Lane recounted.
Lane plans to shoot at mostly natural, outdoor locations other than the brothel for the first Road Trixxx.
"I’m going to take people to some really awesome locations that I think will really stimulate them,” Lane said of her overall goal for the series.
The first Road Trixxx will be in stores in the latter part of this year.
