AVN Award-winning adult actress Tina Tyler is "former" no more – for a year, anyway. She resigned as Sin City Entertainment public relations representative January 22 to spend the rest of 2004 performing in what she calls her final adult films. And she'll talk about it January 23 on KSEXradio.
"I made a promise to myself to quit before I turn 40, and I'll be 39 in six months," Tyler told AVN.com, asked why she was limiting the filmmaking return to one year, so far, "so a year just seemed right. But who knows, if all goes well, I may stick around a little longer. This year I plan to be fairly picky with the projects I take on."
Tyler also plans to launch her own Website this year and spend time, after she withdraws from film performance again, creating content for the site. "As for anything else, who knows?" she said. "I've learned to keep an open mind about where the future takes me."
Tyler’s publicist, Jason Sechrest, was especially enthusiastic, about both interviewing Tyler on the air and her return for at least a year's filmmaking.
"The industry has gained back one of its finest and most legendary performers," said Sechrest, who will feature Tyler's talk on his The Young and the Curious. "Tina knows she only has a certain amount of time left as a performer and she wants to leave when she's still looking at her best and at the top of her game.
"She's in her sexual prime, you know?" Sechrest continued. "She wants to squeeze in as much cock on camera as possible this year and intends to go out with many literal bangs. She also intends to direct more this year. She misses that creative process."
For Tyler, who also writes the "Tina Tyler Talks" column on Sechrest's Website, it will be her third appearance on The Young and the Curious. Fans can listen live on either KSEX's or Sechrest's Website. The show will air from 6-7 p.m. PST January 23.
