Tera Patrick Discusses 2007 Projects

With her feature Fashion Underground occupying the No. 1 slot on AVN’s video sales chart just three weeks after its release, Tera Patrick plans to capitalize on that success in 2007.

“I’ve been given a lot of thank-you notes from my fans, because they’ve been anticipating me working with other guys for a long time,” Patrick told AVN.com. “When the fans speak, you’ve got to listen! I worked exclusively with Spyder Jones [a.k.a. husband Evan Seinfeld] for over three years. I decided to branch out strategically, and I think we did it at the right moment. Paul Thomas did such a great job with me and the movie…I’m really happy about the success of Fashion Underground, and I’d like to thank both PT and Spyder for making the movie with me. Spyder actually directed my scene with Tommy Gunn.”

Fashion Underground went out strong on Nov. 17, and the re-orders have been really good,” said Vivid Entertainment’s national sales manager, Howard Levine. “I think the combination of Paul Thomas’ direction and the appeal of Tera doing other guys for the first time in years made the sales on this movie very large. We’re really grateful to the consumers and distributors for making the movie No. 1 on the charts.”

At January’s AVN Expo, Patrick will launch a new clothing line called Mistress Couture. She described her sexy lingerie designs as “blurring the line between fantasy and reality.” Mistress Couture will debut Jan. 11 in an erotic fashion show during the Patrick-hosted 2nd annual Diva Las Vegas party, at The Venetian Resort Hotel’s Tao nightclub. Patrick will be among the models showing off the new line.

In addition to her new role as clothing designer, Patrick recently expanded her horizons by performing her first boy/boy/girl scene on camera for the upcoming Reign of Tera 2. “I’m really excited about the movie – Reign of Tera 2 is my baby,” she said. “I did the set decoration, the clothing, the makeup; I had a lot of creative input. It’s kind of a spin-off of the first Reign of Tera [2004]; we go back to the Asian Love Palace for more sexual adventures. I did the boy/boy/girl scene with Tommy Gunn and another performer named Jerry. I rounded up a lot of the same all-star, ensemble cast: Charmane Star, Nautica, Mika Tan. There’s a big orgy scene with 10 to 12 girls at the end.”

Reign of Tera 2 will appear in early 2007. In the interim, Patrick is staying busy with her new fansite www.teramania.com, an ongoing column for the UK edition of FHM magazine, and her position as editor of Genesis magazine.

Patrick said she isn’t ruling out the idea of a sequel to Fashion Underground. “I’m up for it, absolutely,” she said. “This year, I’m definitely going full-speed ahead.”
