He’s best known for producing and directing such fare as Anal Surprise Party and International Tushy — as well as for his Showtime reality series, Family Business —but now Adam Glasser, a.k.a. Seymore Butts, is adding another credit to his resumé: mainstream movie actor.
In a new release from Troma Studios entitled Slaughter Party, Glasser was cast as an investigative detective, according to a press release.
“I played detective Donovan, who was investigating a series of murders with his partner Detective Page, played by Rick Drayzen,” Glasser explained. “I think I was involved in about nine to 12 scenes. It was a role I felt I could sink my penis — I mean, teeth — into. So they had me running around in 110 degree heat in the desert chasing bikini-clad women. I won’t tell you why I was chasing them.”
And while he wouldn’t divulge that particular plot detail, he would commit to saying, “I'm very proud of the finale.”
Chris Watson, the producer of Slaughter Party, shed a little more light on the picture, explaining that the movie is about “a mad doctor who created a killer midget that’s murdering scantily clad hotties.”
“I was a big fan of Family Business,” Watson said, “and had a lot of admiration for what Seymore had done and is doing in the Adult business. He fit the role well. We’re all impressed with the job that he did.”
For his part, Glasser seems quite content with the experience. “At the end of the day it was a positive experience,” he said. “I learned a little bit and met some nice people, so I was happy that I did the project and I am looking forward to seeing the end product.”
