ROTTERDAM, Netherlands — European fetish fare distributor SPI Media will debut its first in-house line,
The Domina Files, as well as its new company website,
www.spi-media.com, at the 2008 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) in January.
The parent company behind long-running European BDSM magazine
Massad, SPI Media felt there was a void in quality BDSM material in the worldwide video marketplace, and hopes to fill that void with
The Domina Files and other future offerings.
The Domina Files is a documentary-style series featuring S/M sessions interspersed with interviews and dungeon tour footage. Shooting began in March 2006 in Cologne, Germany with Lady Riva of the
Rubber Addicted Club, and has continued in places including Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, Paris, Brussels, Berlin and London. Plans are in place for shooting in the U.S. in the near future.
The new SPI Media website was developed by L.A.-based Glitterpimp Entertainment, and will be the hub of the company's wholesale and retail business online.
SPI is the European distributor for specialty production houses Skin Two Films, Anastasia Pierce Productions, Jewell Marceau and others. It also co-publishes
DDI (
Domination Directory International) magazine.
Sales inquiries should be directed to
info@spi-media.com. SPI will be exhibiting with American distributor Diversicor Inc. at AEE booth #7094, where it will have the first 12 installments of
The Domina Files on display.
