Ypsilanti police Sgt. John Minzey told the New York Post that Jeremy was released Friday after prosecutors said there was not enough evidence to pursue the criminal-sexual-conduct charge.
"There just wasn't enough evidence to show that it was nonconsensual," Minzey told the paper.
Jeremy was arrested at his hotel and spent Friday night in jail. He was released the following morning at a bond hearing. Jeremy missed an appearance at an Ohio club because of the arrest.
