CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Pure Play Media announced today that the winner of its Direct-to-Retail contest has opted to exchange the grand prize of a brand-new Chevy Malibu hybrid vehicle for adult DVDs.
The car giveaway was designed to launch Pure Play's direct-to-retail distribution model. 20/20 Video won the sweepstakes in September in a random drawing held at the AVN offices.
"When it comes to a new car or product, it's a no-brainer," said Maurice, president of 20/20 Video. "The Pure Play product is superior to a car. I couldn't resist grade-A DVDs; they move off our shelves, and that's the best prize I can ask for."
20/20 Video will now receive Pure Play DVDs and other merchandise equaling the amount of the new vehicle.
