The Pamela Anderson/Tommy Lee hardcore title is one of the biggest adult sellers of all time.
So retailers should plan on clearing a lot more shelf space starting in about three weeks for a new hardcore title starring the oh-so-curvaceous blonde beauty, the known universe’s reigning sex symbol, this one with pre-Tommy boyfriend Bret Michaels, lead singer of King of the Hair Bands, Poison.
Metro Studios is scheduled to release the 87-minute Pamela Anderson Uncensored as a DVD only on Sept. 7. The footage previously has been available on the Internet and was the subject of litigation, but Metro says it now has all the necessary legal clearances to release it.
“We expect it to do extremely well,” said Mike Barbella, director of Metro sales and marketing. “I think her first tape (Pam and Tommy Lee: Hardcore and Uncensored from S&D Video/IEG) was one of the best sellers if not the best seller ever. I suspect that this should follow suit.”
“She’s just not blowing Bret Michaels,” Barbella noted, “but she’s actually fucking him in a couple of different places, in a couple of different positions, so it’s pretty hot,”
Barbella added that Pamela Anderson Uncensored includes some of the footage from Pam and Tommy Lee: Hardcore and Uncensored (S&D Video/IEG), which won AVN Awards for Best Renting and Best Selling Tape in 1998.
No word on whether a Pam/Kid Rock tape is in the pipeline, but it’s doubtful, since she dumped the Detroit rap rocker rather quickly to go running back yet one more time to ex-husband Tommy, Motley Crue’s bad boy drummer. Lee, by the way, is starring in a new reality series on NBC, Tommy Lee Goes to College.
