Metro Offers Discounts on AVN Nominated Titles

The studio's best of 2008 are marked down through January.

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Metro Content has announced a "New Year Top Sellers Special" featuring some of its most acclaimed titles of 2008 and running through the month of January.

Timed to coincide with the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) beginning Thursday in Las Vegas, the sale offers 36 of the studio's best-selling titles of the year at discounts of over 50 percent in many cases. Included in the sale are multiple AVN Award-nominees The Texas Vibrator Massacre and Asia Noir 6, as well as entries from nominated series No Man's Land and My Baby Got Back, and features from the Cal Vista collection including The Sweet Spot, Taboo 23, Runaway Love and re-releases Zazel and Cinesex.

"The declining economy has hit distributors and retailers hard," said Metro sales manager Russ Pascale. "This sale, which compliments our AEE show special on other Metro titles, is designed to help boost buyers' confidence and potential revenue stream by giving them our top selling titles at unheard of prices."

During AEE, more than 200 titles from Metro's library will also be offered at reduced prices. These will include selections from the interactive Virtual Dreams series, Video Team's Sista, and imprints FusXion, Badass Pictures, Legal Pink and Loaded Digital.
