Mari Possa Rides Again

LOS ANGELES—Mari Possa, whose journey from receptionist to porn star, was featured on the Showtime original series, Family Business, has returned to performing after a three-year hiatus to pursue a degree in broadcasting.

Previously a contract star for Seymore Butts Home Movies and Adam & Eve Pictures, Possa is returning as a freelance performer available for glamour, solo, fetish and girl/girl work in high-quality productions.

Being under contract for the entirety of her career has limited Possa’s exposure in adult productions to less than 35 scenes yet she has maintained a loyal fan base through her work, her numerous Playboy TV appearances and her global exposure on Family Business.

“I’m really excited to get back to performing,” Possa said. “Getting my degree was something I had promised myself I would do but I need a break from all of that thinking! I missed a lot of things about the industry especially the girls, and to be honest, the attention. I plan on getting a lot of both.”

Possa currently is featured as the cover girl of Dirty Talk: Conversations With Porn Stars, a new book in which she is interviewed alongside such industry luminaries as Nina Hartley, Asia Carrera, Hyapatia Lee and Jill Kelly, among others.

The bilingual beauty has a number of new, yet-to-be released projects in the works and will be appearing at the Exxxotica show in Chicago, July 13-15, where she is looking forward to re-acquainting herself with her fans from the Windy City.

Possa represents herself and can be reached via email at xxxmaripossa@gmail.com.

Dirty Talk: Conversations With Porn Stars (Bearmanor Media, 2012), written by Andrew Rausch and Chris Watson, is available here.
