NEW YORK - Australia's Daily Telegraph reports that recently retired porn icon Jenna Jameson provided a little celebrity love for native designer Aurelio "Ray" Costarella's threads as a front-row guest at his New York Fashion Week show in Manhattan's Prince George Ballroom.
Sporting one of Costarella's designs, Jameson said she fell for his work when she posed in one of his gowns for a magazine shoot six months ago.
"I had not idea who had designed it, but I was like, 'I want this dress,'" she exclaimed. "I called him and I was like, 'Listen, I love your stuff, please, please dress me,' and he was very into it — so here I am."
Going on to promise that she would "definitely visit Australia," Jameson stated, "Ray is exactly why. He kind of opened my eyes. He really designs for a woman, things that are wearable, things that are sexy. This is something I could dance the night away in."
Costarella has received endorsements from other celebs including Rhianna, Sharon Stone and Dita Von Teese, and will have his designs featured on the cover of next month's Cosmopolitan magazine.
