Jack Venice to Turn Himself In On Assault Allegation

PULLMAN, Wash. - Male performer Jack Venice, a.k.a. Christopher Jack Reid, has said through sources that he plans to turn himself in for questioning concerning an alleged assault on a Washington State University student Thursday inside the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority house.

Another man, Kyle Schott, has already been arrested as a suspected accomplice in the incident. Schott is a student at WSU, and is currently out on bail of $100,000. It has been speculated by some that Reid and Schott were participating in the making of an adult movie on the campus.

The charges reportedly facing Reid are 2nd Degree Rape, 1st Degree Burglary, two counts of residential burglary and one count of attempted burglary. His bond was set at $200,000. Schott's charges, meanwhile, are reported to be 1st Degree Burglary and 1st Degree Rape. While Reid told a local news outlet that he was too drunk to remember what happened the night of the incident, one report says the alleged victim told police the assault did not involve intercourse.

Reid's agent, Derek Hay of L.A. Direct Models, gave AVN the following statement on his behalf: "Jack Venice is going to present himself to authorities in Washington within the next few days. The charges as stated in much of the media are exaggerated, as they so often are, and he looks forward to being able to give a truthful account of the events of that evening. Though he may miss a few days of work, it is not anticipated that there will be a major interruption of his work schedule at this stage. Also, I would add there has been no accusation of rape."
