HOLLYWOOD - Porn starlet Renae Cruz will travel to Washington, D.C. to shoot her upcoming Adam & Eve/X-Play feature, J-Ho.
Directed by Will Ryder, the "Jennifer Lopez-inspired political sex comedy" takes Cruz all the way to the White House. According to X-Play masterminds Jeff Mullen and Scott David (the Barnum & Bailey of porn), "a cameo appearance role written for President George Bush has not yet been agreed to by the White House."
"When Jeff Mullen told me we were going to fly to Washington to shoot, I thought he was kidding," said Cruz. "Then I got my flight itinerary and looked at the revised script, and sure enough, we're about to fly there."
Cruz leaves for Washington on Friday morning. According to Mullen, the movie will be shooting at a number of national landmarks through Monday, July 16.
J-Ho will include action sequences to be shot on SexZ Pictures mogul Bo Kenney's yacht. According to advance publicity, Kenney "will be skippering his private 50 foot cruiser down the Potomac River as J-Ho gets bribed by peace loving terrorists hoping she'll do a concert in Iraq."
"Shooting in D.C. presents a series of challenges but we've been pretty successful getting the proper permits and permission", said co-producer Scott David. "And shooting on the SexZ Pictures yacht is going to be a lot of fun."
X-Play anticipates J-Ho will be a huge hit, following the successful model of the Britney Rears series. The movie will follow X-Play's September release of the heavily-hyped Not the Bradys.
"We want to put some fun back into porn," Mullen told AVN. "We had so much success with Britney Rears 3: Britney Gets Shafted being a comedy that we decided to take a similar approach. Developing this project has been a never-ending process; when we started out, it was more of a 'Behind the Music' parody of J. Lo [with Jasmine Byrne in the title role], but I guess we've got too much time on our hands because we got really creative and goofy with it."
J-Ho co-stars Eva Angelina, Sunny Lane, Alexis Amore, Kelli Tyler, Aurora Snow and Veronique Vega. The movie is slated for fall 2007 release.
