Industry Makeup Artist Creates Cosmetics Line

Stephany Drotman’s work has been showcased on the faces of some of porn’s most beautiful hardcore girls and now, the products used to create those super-hot looks are available to the masses. Her new company, Hot Wax Cosmetics, features cosmetics designed to stand up to the demands of any shoot, gonzo or otherwise.

Drotman is an established gonzo company makeup artist and has worked for Elegant Angel, Red Light District, Platinum X, Extreme and Evil Angel in the past. When she was asked by a salon owner friend about starting her own signature line, she didn’t hesitate in getting that started.

“I work with a fabulous lab that also puts out the Bobbi Brown line which is great stuff," Drotman told AVN.com. "What was really important to me was to create a line that was high in pigmentation and has great staying power. It couldn’t break out the skin or look heavy and didn’t get chunky and crease-y and turn gray — all the things that performers need. I have really strong, beautiful colors that hold well that hold well on any skin tone or skin type.”

The full line features body shimmer powder, foundation, concealer, blush, loose powder, mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, lip liner, lip gloss and lipstick.

Performer Melissa Lauren is the model for the line on Drotman’s site, www.hotwaxcosmetics.com.

“She is just the epitome of what my line is about,” Drotman said of Lauren. “She reeks of sex and she’s one of the most stunning women I’ve ever met. I think it’s time for cosmetics to become a little sexier and a little edgier because that’s what so many women are trying to look like today.”
