Howard Stern Web Site Traffic Drops

Howard Stern’s Web site has experienced a major drop in traffic in the past year, according to Hitwise, which monitors Web traffic.

Hitwise is reporting that the number of visitors to the shock jock’s Web site has dropped by 71 percent since March 2005, when he told listeners he was leaving terrestrial radio for Sirius Satellite Radio.

Likewise, search engines also reported a drop in the number of searches for his name by about 90 percent during the same period.

Stern is known for featuring porn stars as guests on his morning show.
