Heidi Joy Pike Promotes Love Hurts on KSEX

Fledgling director and former AVN Senior Associate Editor Heidi Joy Pike will co-host the show "Who Wears the Pants?" Monday night on KSEXradio.com, with regular host Jack Lawrence, to promote her first Bad Seed title, Love Hurts, in which Lawrence appears.

Filling in for starlet Gwen Diamond on the show, Pike will also have Love Hurts cast members Angel Eyes and Lexi Love in tow, and will screen the movie's trailer for the very first time during the visit.

"In Gwen Diamond's absence, I couldn't be blessed with a better, more appropriate co-host than Heidi," Lawrence said. "She has seen so much through her former work at AVN, and she knows so much about the business. I am really looking forward to the show tonight!"

Lawrence added that his scene in Love Hurts, which paired him with roughhouser Tyla Wynn, challenged his usual performance boundaries. "I am known in the industry as the soft, sensual lover-type," he noted, "but Heidi wanted to see me do a rougher scene, so she cast me with Tyla. I enjoyed the opportunity to step outside my comfort zone and shake things up a little. I mean, I would have walked over glass for Heidi because I trust her, but it was just so wonderful learning about my limits. [It] was so not my kind of scene, but Tyla loves rough sex so much that it would have been wrong not to give it to her."

On her experience directing Love Hurts — which is due out this summer — Pike told AVN, "I really enjoyed working for Bad Seed. Peter Reynolds is a great executive producer, and I am greatly looking forward to making my next Bad Seed movie."

"Who Wears the Pants?" airs at 9 p.m. PST.
