Cable network G4 is producing a two-hour special extensively covering the 2008 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) and Awards Show in Las Vegas. The show is scheduled to air Sunday, Jan. 13, with four additional repeats throughout the month.
G4 Producer Michael Danahy told AVN that the show will be “jam-packed with coverage and special segments. We’ll be on the show floor for four full days, and getting some great nightlife coverage as well. I think it’s going to be a big hit.”
According to Danahy, the show segments will include a trip to London with Wicked Pictures contract starlets Jessica Drake and Kirsten Price for the annual Erotic Trade Only (ETO) awards; a look at Japanese Hentai porn; an on-set profile of Wicked contract star Randy Spears; a visit to a New York upscale sex boutique; a rope bondage demonstration in Tokyo; three comedy skits with AVN Hall of Fame performers; a countdown of the top “desert island” porn titles; a behind-the-scenes segment on a Spice Studios production; a profile on technology in the adult industry; profiles of other Wicked contract stars, and LA Direct Models owner Derek Hay.
New Sensations/Digital Sin exclusive Ashlynn Brooke, Pleasure Productions contract girl Tera Wray, and starlets Erika Vution, Faye Reagan and Mia Presley were all interviewed for an “A Star is Porn” segment showcasing new talent in the industry.
“The girls were all lovely,” said Danahy. “We shot them in our studio, and made it look like an old-fashioned screen test.”
“I’m really honored to be selected for their show,” said Brooke. “G4 always has the coolest stuff and everyone we worked with was so nice.”
