Ongoing investigation fails to turn up violations after two-week probe

Cops: No Criminal Activity at Hamden's Adult Video Liquidators

HAMDEN, Conn. - In the first two weeks of an ongoing investigation, police have failed to find any illegal activity at the Adult Video Liquidators outlet on State Street.

According to the New Haven Register, Hamden law enforcement and planning officials launched the investigation after the Mayor's office received an anonymous complaint about the store's video peep booths. Interviewed by detectives last night, the store's owner and employees denied the allegations of criminal activity on the premises.

The town zoning board is still looking into potential violations - but so far, it appears the store is in the clear.
