LOS ANGELES - Wicked Pictures contract girl Carmen Hart recently wrapped a role in writer/director Adam Fields' mainstream horror comedy The One Eyed Monster
Billed as "a horror satire in the vein of the Scream franchise," The One Eyed Monster
features several alumni from TV's 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' including actress/novelist Amber Benson, actor Jeff Denton, and Fields. The cast also includes veteran character actor Charles Napier of Russ Meyer fame.
"The role was provocative, to be sure, but there was real acting required," Hart said. "I think certain people had the idea that 'porn stars can't act,' and I worked hard to dispel those notions. Some of them obviously weren't familiar with my work for Wicked, and didn't know that creating characters and delivering dialogue is something I'd already been doing for a long time. The director was very pleased with the results. In fact, it looks like the film will be going to Sundance, and I plan to be there to support it."
While gearing up for Sundance, Hart will perform July 13 and 14 at Stiletto's Gentlemen's Club, 180 East Route 59 in Nanuet, New York. For show times and directions, contact the club directly at (845) 624-6900.
Hart is slated to appear in AVN Award-winning director Michael Raven's next Wicked Pictures feature, shooting this month in Los Angeles.
