LOS ANGELES—Axel Braun, arguably the busiest director in the adult entertainment industry, has announced a slate of new movies to be distributed exclusively by Vivid Entertainment.
On top of the already announced Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody, the 2011 lineup includes spoofs of the popular TV shows Law & Order, Starsky & Hutch and The Addams Family, as well as classic movies like Grease, A Clockwork Orange and The Godfather.
A few of the rumored casting choices for some of the above include: James Deen as Starsky and Michael Vegas as Hutch, Alan Stafford as Grease's Danny Zuko, and (appropriately enough) Mike Pacino as Godfather Michael Corleone.
First up for Braun is Superman XXX: A Porn Parody, a spoof of the 1978 film directed by Richard Donner and starring Christopher Reeve.
Ryan Driller stars as Superman, with a supporting male cast of James Deen, Randy Spears, Eric Masterson, Evan Stone, Alec Knight and Dale DaBone as Jor-El.
The all-star cast also includes Alexis Texas, Kristina Rose, Lexi Belle, Zoe Voss and Andy San Dimas as Lois Lane. The movie is being shot using RED cameras and features state-of-the-art special effects.
"The enormous succes of Batman XXX: A Porn Parody made this project very exciting," Braun said. "As usual, I'm trying to recreate the look and feel of the source material and have some fun with it without offending the fans, but while the Batman TV show was shot in studio with a relatively low budget, Richard Donner's movie was a huge production with plenty of exteriors and groundbreaking special effects, so it will be a lot more challenging, and definitely more interesting."
About his other scheduled parodies, Braun said that he "selected TV shows and movies that have not only been popular favorites, but in which I have a real emotional investment," said Braun. "It makes working on these projects incredibly exciting for me and translates into products that are true labors of love."
Braun's Batman XXX: A Porn Parody, also distributed by Vivid, has been at the top of the charts all summer long.
"We're already getting strong retail interest in Axel's upcoming Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody, which we announced last month," said Steven Hirsch, founder/co-chairman of Vivid. "There is no doubt this new slate of high-quality movies will generate tremendous excitement in the marketplace for us."
