HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—This Saturday, March 26, director Carlos Batts and voluptuous adult star April Flores mark the release of their newest collaboration, Artcore, with a party at the Palms at 8572 Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood, Calif.
Art, sex and technology merge in Artcore, the latest from the director and his muse. Artcore showcases a diverse range of sexual expression, from body image and gender identity to fetishes and role playing. In this project Batts aimed to create a new approach to recording sex, making a digital mix tape that blends music, mood and tempo. And at the center is Flores, showing off her versatility, sex appeal and generous curves.
Said April Flores, “I am excited that our movies will be enjoyed in a more instant and assessable way globally. In keeping with the theme of Artcore, we will be able to express our art form in a very futuristic way.”
Response to Artcore has been favorable. In his Huffington Post blog, art critic Mat Gleason called it “the artsiest, edgiest pornographic movie in years” and author Violet Blue described Batts and Flores as “another vibrant, necessary set of voices are being represented here that are continually overlooked by mainstream sex entertainment media and anti-porn pundits alike.”
And J.D. at HotMoviesForHer.com comments, “Each of the four scenes is totally different from the next, creating a multi-layered porno adventure that has me glued to the screen in anticipation of what comes next.”
The party will be held from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. The first 40 guests will receive a special gift.
