Stung by controversy, the owner of a Florida adult talent agency told AVN.com today that he has severed ties with a company that shot video of one of his models having hardcore sex with a man next to a buffalo she had just killed with a hunting rifle.
“Especially in light of what the effect has been, we really don’t feel it’s appropriate that we do business with Sexy Outdoor Sports anymore,” Eli, who owns Miami-based Alternative Modeling, said in a telephone interview.
A furor erupted in the industry earlier this week when two of Eli’s models, newcomers Daisy Duxxx and Ashley Gracie, discussed on KSEX.com radio how they had killed animals for South Florida-based Sexy Outdoors Sports. Only Duxxx, however, had sex next to the animal she had killed. Eli said Gracie went on a test hunt with Sexy Outdoors Sports owner Lars, but after killing an animal, decided that she didn’t want to go ahead with the sex portion of the assignment. “She said, ‘This is not me, I love animals too much. I can’t possibly do this,’” Eli, in Los Angeles for a few days, recounted.
Smarting from the controversy and after talking at length with AVN Publisher Tim Connelly (Alternative Modeling is scheduled to exhibit at the AVN-owned Erotica L.A. next month), Eli decided to no longer supply models to Sexy Outdoors Sports.
“It’s been a struggle of mine since the first day I ever heard about the assignment,” Eli said. “I didn’t really like it. I don’t find it interesting. Didn’t find it appealing. Didn’t find anything about it appropriate. But it just happened and we did the shoot.
“But now, we don’t want to do business with them anymore.”
Asked if he found the practice of having sex next to a freshly-killed animal appalling, Eli said, “yes.”
Duxxx, who has been a Georgia-based adult performer for less than a year, said she too has had a change of heart.
“I will not do it again,” she said. “Mainly because it is so highly controversial,” but also because she finds the act of having sex next to a dead animal morally offensive “to a degree.” She said that that was the first time she had killed an animal.
“Even recreationally hunting, I don’t see myself ever doing it again,” she added, noting that she grew up in the South, where hunting is widespread and considered acceptable.
Eli, meanwhile, said he did not know if Sexy Outdoors Sports planned to release the footage of Duxxx or not.
“Where he goes with it, I don’t know,” he said.
