AVN Afternoons Kicks Off With Gary Kremen

AVN Afternoons’ triumphant return to YNOT Radio will feature Gary Kremen, founder of Grant Media and former owner of Sex.com and Match.com.

The show, co-hosted by AVN Online Senior Editor MJ McMahon and model and former Penthouse Pet Aimee Sweet, airs live at 4 p.m. ET, Thursday, Feb. 9.

Kremen recently sold Sex.com for eight-figures after enduring a 10-year legal saga. In 1995, Stephen Michael Cohen stole the domain from him. After being convicted of the theft in 2001, Cohen fled the country. Kremen pursued him until his arrest in late October 2005.

“We wanted to kick off the return of AVN Afternoons with a bang,” McMahon says. “Gary Kremen is hands down one of the most intriguing people in the business, and what better way to hear this amazing story than from the man himself? We might just have some other surprises up our sleeve too, so be sure to tune in.”

“I love Gary; he is a great guy!” Sweet says. “When I was living in San Diego I got to know Gary very well, and I’m very happy to see his long, drawn-out fight over Sex.com come to a positive resolution. He deserves it.”

In addition to excellent guests, AVN Afternoons also will feature a weekly trivia contest. This week the show will be giving away a $100 voucher for use at the Tempe Mission Palms Hotel’s Mission Grille during the Phoenix Forum, courtesy of SmashBucks.

The Phoenix Forum runs March 30 to April 1.
