has launched "The Pro & The Joe," a column that covers sex, gender and relationship issues from the perspectives of "average Joe" Paul A. Johnson and legendary adult superstar Candida Royalle.
The column will answer a user-submitted question each week. Johnson and Royalle will cover a range of issues and subjects of interest to both sexes. The common ground they aim to help create among readers is expected to be a huge draw.
Royalle said the column's format allows her and Johnson to "provide some useful insight for readers without having them feel the kind of embarrassment they might normally be faced with if they were asking their friends and neighbors for advice or information about sexual topics deeply important to them."
"I think it is extremely valuable to both sexes to get a male and female perspective when receiving an answer to their question," she said.
"Most people believe they are part Pro and part Joe ... so a column like this one is a valuable tool for helping them to see issues with greater clarity as Candida and I highlight key elements of open and honest discussions about the kinds of things that affect the relationships of people everywhere," Johnson added. "It really is something I'm very enthusiastic about because it gives me a chance to entertain and inform a lot of people at the same time."
Sex.com President Del Anthony said the company "couldn't be happier" about featuring the column.
"These esteemed contributors will provide our audience with a balance of views they can't find anywhere else," he said. "It's just this kind of informed and entertaining interaction with our adult visitors that will define the special relationship Sex.com intends to develop with its community in the months and years to come. We want to thank Candida and Paul for helping make Sex.com the premier adult destination on the Internet."
Royalle is an internationally acclaimed pioneer in the field of women's sexuality and eroticism. She is the author of How to Tell a Naked Man What to Do: Sex Advice from a Woman Who Knows and the creator of Femme Productions, the first-ever line of adult movies designed to focus on women's needs and desires.
