The new sites diversify Private's content, while offering an important new network of distribution. According to the company, the plan is to grow this network around three core sites, to a total of more than 100 niche sites by the end of this year.
"The niche site strategy is expected to generate significant incremental revenues and contribution to operating profit through substantially increasing shelf-space, traffic and conversion rates," Private's Director of Online Media Israel Garcia explained. "Additionally, it enables us to take advantage of up-selling and cross-selling opportunities. The new sites have been in development for over a year and are part of the ongoing evolution and growth of Private's global online diversification strategy."
