Stagliano, who is facing a federal obscenity prosecution, has delivered similar speeches at other recent events, but he said he will change things around a little for his next appearance.
"I plan on taking a little different approach from how I addressed things" before, he said.
Stagliano said he is honored by the opportunity to speak to members of the adult Internet industry and have the chance to present his take on obscenity prosecutions.
"I'm not a lawyer, and I can't really give any sort of legal advice, but I don't want to present the same outlook that a lot of lawyers do," he said. "Many lawyers, when it comes to obscenity, have this doom-and-gloom outlook on things, and I want to get across the message that life and work doesn't have to be that way."
Stagliano is scheduled to speak at noon Saturday, Aug. 9.
