"When we sat down to take an inventory of our network of websites, we wanted to see what we had to offer, what we had that offered nothing and what were we missing," said Robert Muise, director of marketing for Adult Chamber. "As the site grows, we are hoping to bring aboard contributing authors to help share their expertise with the community. Ideally, we'd like to become the Engadget of the adult industry."
AdultChamberBlog.com features content provided by Adult Chamber members, who have 45 years of combined experience, Muise said.
"We always have our doors open for contributors from the industry," Muise said. "Our only submission guidelines are that the article has to be relevant to the adult industry."
AdultChamberJobs.com was started because so many Adult Chamber members were asking for a place to list their ads, Muise said.
"We're definitely not looking to become the next Monster.com, but we found that if we provided employers with the ability to post listings, and made the navigation and interaction super-simple for the prospects, that we would have a winner," he said. "So far, it's supplementing our offerings quite well. In fact, we filled an opening on our team with an applicant from AdultChamberJobs.com."
AdultChamberJobs.com will allow anyone to post job openings for 45 days. To keep the listings fresh, postings past the expiration date are automatically deleted and posters are notified, in case they wish to repost.
Job seekers can visit the site to view listings and apply without having to sign up for an account.
"Any adult webmaster can access either site, and the only requirements are a desire to make their [sites] more successful," Muise said.
