AUBURN, Wash. – Peekay, Inc.'s stores in Washington and California are conducting a holiday food drive, aiming to restock neighborhood food banks before Thanksgiving. Peekay has partnered with 34 local agencies to coordinate the drives, which benefit shoppers as well—they receive 50 percent off one item with each food donation. So far, the promotion is making tremendous strides. Within a week of launching the charitable efforts, Peekay stores had already gathered approximately 3,600 pounds of food, and their goal is reach 15,000 pounds by the time the drive ends.

Marketing coordinator Sylvia TeGantvoort says, "The community response has been outstanding thus far; we've had customers excited and impressed to see our stores help our local communities with this program."

Visit the sites for Lovers, A Touch of Romance, and ConRev to find all donation sites.
