Rob Romoni Joins Jet Set Men

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Multi-award-winning gay adult performer Rob Romoni has joined Jet Set Men as director of casting and marketing. The position seems to be a natural fit for the masculine guy recently named “Twitter-Maniac: Most Prolific In The Biz” by fans during the 2010 TLA Gay Awards.

“I am very proud to have Rob Romoni bring his expertise, creativity and industry knowledge as both a producer and a model to Jet Set Men,” said Jet Set Men chief Chris Steele. “Rob is fun, he’s got a great personality and he knows this business inside and out. I’m very happy to be working alongside him again.”

“Again” is significant: Romoni hasn’t worked with Steele in six years. In 2004, Romoni became the first gay adult performer to top Matthew Rush, in Falcon Studios’ Taking Flight—written and directed for Falcon by Steele.

Romoni began his gay porn career two years earlier in Chi Chi LaRue’s Colton for All Worlds Video. Since then he has appeared in more 30 films. He received both a GAYVN Award and a Grabby Award for “Best Group Scene” in 2004’s Bolt (Rascal Video), and he won the Grabby Award for “Best Ass” the same year. Most recently, he returned to the screen in Mustang’s Adrenaline. He will be seen shortly in the upcoming Channel 1 Release Affirmative: Blacktion, directed by Doug Jefferies.

“I am blessed and excited to be working with Jet Set Men,” Romoni said of his new role. “This incredible opportunity doesn’t come very often where I can seek out fresh new talent, cultivate my business education and continue to do feature films and live appearances. The best is yet to come.”

Romoni plans to attend the Grabby Awards ceremony in Chicago during Memorial Day weekend. While there, he is expected to film all the Grabby-related madness for a video titled Romoni Does Chicago.

He also plans to continue his work as a performer on film and on stage under the representation of Howard Andrew’s Fabscout Entertainment.

Despite the additional responsibilities, Romoni intends to maintain his presence on Twitter and post frequent updates to his blog. He may be contacted via email through Jet Set Men.
