C1R Wraps Two New S. Fla. Titles

‘Slow Burn' and ‘Beach Ballin'' were shot on location in an eight-bedroom mansion right on the Florida beach.

LOS ANGELES - Channel 1 Releasing has completed principal photography on two new productions shot entirely on location in southern Florida. Both Chi Chi LaRue's Slow Burn and Doug Jeffries' Beach Ballin' were filmed at an eight-bedroom mansion right on the beach.

C1R exclusive Josh Vaughn leads the cast of Slow Burn. Joining him are new discoveries Shane Frost, Luke Riley, Colby Knight, Rian Nash, Jimmie Slater, Felix Andrews, Billy Davidson and Nick Donato. The movie follows in the sandy footsteps of Sun Soaked.

Beach Ballin' is a more casual romp along the beach in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The cast - including Dominic Pacifico, Kameron Scott, Brock Armstrong, Zane Jacobs, Nick Cross, Jared King, Revel Milan and Dallas Reeves - filmed each other using handheld video cameras.

According to LaRue and Jeffries, that the two titles could be shot simultaneously attests to the talents of still photographer Gio, award-winning videographer Hue Wild and what the directors called "an amazing Florida crew."

Slow Burn and Beach Ballin' are scheduled for release in spring 2009.
