WeHo Adult Website Nominations Announced

Eight adult sites vie for 2006 Best Adult Site award

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - The West Hollywood (WeHo) Award nominees have been announced for the Best Adult Website for 2006. They are BiLatinMen.com, DirtyTony.com, MaleTrade.net, RandyBlue.com, LiveandRaw.com, Rentboy.com, CorbinFisher.com, and BoyU.com. WeHo honors exemplary achievements in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities of the Greater Los Angeles area.

Local pride was voiced by one of the nominees: “West Hollywood is not only the place where I set up my business,” remarked Chi Chi LaRue, owner of LiveAndRaw.com. “It is also a place I call home.”

Some were surprised by their nominations. Brian Dunlap, vice president of Excelsior Media LLP, learned of CorbinFisher.com’s nomination from AVN Online.

“I would like to think the reasons we were nominated are the very same reasons we've seen such tremendous success over the past three years: intense attention to quality and detail in everything from the selection of our models, what we film, how we structure the site, and ultimately great action being captured on camera and delivered to our members,” he conjectured about the nomination.

Asked why his company received accolades, Randy Blue replied, “It’s the consumers. We concentrate on them. We’re a consumer driven, content focused site. We painstakingly do the best job we can. We put on eight to ten original scenes per month. We put up new photos, video, and screen caps. Excellence is what we strive for. It’s an honor to see the community’s response.”

The 6th Annual WeHo Awards ceremonies will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
