Pa. Man Faces Obscenity Charges for Blaring Porn at Kids

PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. — A 27-year-old man in Philadelphia suburb Phoenixville has been charged with one felony obscenity violation and two misdemeanors for blaring the soundtrack of a porn movie in order to chase children off his cul-de-sac.

The Associated Press reports that Michael Buck had the police called on him May 31 by appalled neighbors who claimed they could hear the explicit audio a block-and-a-half away.

Buck has a preliminary hearing scheduled next month. Detective Tom Goggin said Buck previously filed a complaint about the children he was attempting to shoo off, but that there is nothing criminal about their playing outside.
